Open Doorways to Demonic Occultic Spirits

The following is a list of ways that we open the door to evil spirits through involvement in the occult.  Since we are in a battle according to Ephesians 6:10-18 and many other passages, we must recognize where we have come into enemy territory and are at risk of his attacks.  It is like going out into the trenches wearing red and there is a bulls’ eye on your back. God’s word says that we must not be ignorant of his schemes but be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”  The following activities are not wise, but we are often ignorant of his devices.   We must be enlightened and wear the armor Paul mentions in the above passages.  If we confess our sins of our involvement in these activities, repent of them, and forsake them, we then cancel the assignment of the enemy to attack us in this area.  Of course, there are many other avenues for the enemy to break down our doors.  This is just a list of the occultic ones. Check to see if you have been involved in any of these practices.

 

Placing a hex spell or voodoo on someone

Repeating a phrase over and over again.
